A lot of designers stack the emboss, deboss, foil, and print artwork layers on screen before handoff and ship it off once everything looks pixel-perfect. The minimum line weight and type size for an emboss die are governed by paper thickness, pressure setting, and die precision, three variables at once. I've seen too many designers cram 6pt hairline text into an emboss zone and end up with mush or broken letters. Rough experience-based thresholds:
・Embossed fine lines: keep stroke width at 0.5mm or above
・Embossed small text: keep type size at 8pt or above (display type can relax a bit, body copy needs more)
