Tattoo stickers apply face-down onto the skin. That means whatever design you see on screen must be printed as a mirrored image

If you plan to add foil stamping, definitely don't apply business card design habits directly to this process

・Mirror the entire file: Every element, including text and logos, must be flipped horizontally. Otherwise, text on skin will end up backward

・Dedicated white ink layer required: Tattoo stickers lack a white substrate. Without a dedicated white ink layer, printed colors will turn muddy and dull against natural skin tones

・Foil stroke width at least 0.2 mm: Thermal foil transfer causes a slight glue squeeze. If lines are too fine or placed too close together, the foil will turn into a blurry blob

・Tattoo stickers rely on water-transfer technology. Designs must be mirrored so text doesn't end up reversed on skin

・Inks and adhesives must pass non-toxic chemical testing. This is the single most essential risk management step in this business

・500 sheets is the threshold. Go with digital direct printing to skip plate setup for small orders, or use screen/offset printing to drive down costs for large runs

・Always build a separate white ink layer in your file. Otherwise, colored inks will lose saturation against skin
